Hot Boots to Keep Cold Feet Warm
Women’s boots usually fall into one of two categories: boots designed to keep your feet warm, and boots that are fashionable. Rarely do you find a boot that is both fashionable and suitable for the harsh winter cold. But the ones we’re going to show you today fulfill both qualities. Get them now before the extreme cold and snow set in.
UGGS – If you’re going to wear them, make sure they’re pretty!

Everyone knows UGGS, at least the standard original designs. You either love them or hate them. As a former UGGS-hater myself, I was converted when I discovered that there was more to UGGS than the plain old ugly UGGS. Their website even has a section for “Fashion” boots. While I would argue that some of those featured in that section are still quite repulsive, there are a few gems. My top pics include the Sundance II (which is also available in a taller height), Knightsbridge, and Roseberry. They are cute and the shearling lining will keep your feet toasty warm. Tip: purchase some soft leather waterproofing spray before you wear them out in the elements for the first time, and reapply each year to keep out the moisture.
Rocket Dog Boots – Funky meets functional

Rocket Dog makes cute and funky casual shoes and sandals, but did you know they also make awesome boots? My personal favs are Rocket Dog’s Hazel Storm Cold Weather Boots, which are lined with shearling to keep you warm and are tall enough to keep the snow from soaking your jeans. I’m also a fan of Rocket Dog’s Slope boots in black. These mid-calf boots are durable with a sturdy sole , a pretty suede exterior, and a toasty warm fleece lined interior. You can find them in stores like Macy’s or online at places like Piper Lime.
EMU Australia Boots – No, they’re not UGGS knock-offs, but they are from the same country

Another treat from Down Under, EMU Australia has some really cute and warm boots. My favorites from their winter collection include King’s Cross (in chocolate suede), a gorgeous below-the-knee zip-up boot with a scalloped edge for comfort. Of course it’s lined with sheepskin to wick away moisture and keep your shoes odor-free. The Kimba Hi slouch boots (in black) are lined with Australian Merino wool to keep you warm, and feature a sturdy leather exterior. They would look great worn with a pair of skinny jeans.
